Driven by a passion for storytelling through motion, Jacob has spent the last six years refining his craft as a sports photographer focused on the intersection of action and authenticity. His work is defined by precision, professionalism, and a sharp eye for detail — capturing genuine moments that continue to engage and inspire viewers beyond the game.

Jacob's passion for photography was sparked by his grandfather's work and has grown into a career grounded in both creative vision and technical expertise. He holds a bachelor's degree in Commercial Photography from Appalachian State University and brings a thoughtful, disciplined approach to every assignment.

Previously, Jacob served as a Photo Editor for the National Basketball Association(NBA), where he worked at the highest level of professional sports media. Today, he blends both digital and film formats to craft compelling visual narratives — whether courtside, on the field, or behind the scenes.

Outside of photography, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring new landscapes — with a personal goal to one day visit and photograph the stunning landscapes of Iceland. As an Eagle Scout, he also has a deep respect for the environment and sustainability.
